And Jacob was left alone; and there wrestled a man with him until the breaking of the day.
Genesis 32:24

God has a blessing for you. Do you want it? You do? Then get ready to wrestle.

I believe many saints get confused when they’re going through trials and immediately start rebuking the devil and trying to send him back to the pit of hell. But, the truth is many times we are actually rebuking a move of God in our life. It is interesting that the Bible does not say that Jacob was attacked, which would indicate an enemy was trying to take him out. The King James says he “wrestled” with a Man. The man mentioned here is said to be an angelic being or possibly Jesus himself. What we have proof of is that this man is not an enemy. The word wrestle means to grapple or get dusty.  It also means to float away as a mist of vapor. While physical evidence of this encounter would remain forever, be not mistaken, this was a spiritual battle designed to test the will of Jacob.

God has a blessing for you. Are you willing to wrestle in the Spirit until it’s released?
